So, I've told a few of you about my web-comic-thing. I've been posting it daily for about two months now, and it is (mostly) story-line based. It is available to read at bewaretheslumpy.com. What started off as a randomy little scribble has become quite the obsession for me.
I need to get some RP time in soon; I've been missing you dears!
Since I cleared out most of the old posts on the front page, I encourage you all to use the "contribute" button (up top!) to write something that we can put up here on the front page.
To fill some space, I thought that I'd blather a bit.
The change-over to the new site-hosting servers went smoothly, and we're finally Y2K compliant. Thank Thrall.
The Melbury Gents is a site that I post on, sometimes. That post in the link is me, typos and all.
I've added some things on the front page temporarily, such as the weather link for Columbus.
Crap, I've got more packing to do. And Luc is here. Okay, gonna scram now.
Earlier today, after a not very long contest against a decidedly poor field of contestants, Miss Joi Suncatcher, a young druid, won the title of Miss Desolace. This gives her a chance to compete for the Miss Kalimdor title, which in turn leads to Miss Azeroth and finally on to Miss Two-Worlds.
Some had speculated that there would be fierce competition from some of the trolls of Shadowprey Village, however none had entered, a village elder citing "too much peacebloom, mon" as the reason. Second place went to Xaxxioxar, a satyr who insists s/he is female despite all appearances, and runner up was a random, friendly kodo that had wandered over when Steamwheedle judges were ready to cancel the competition due to insufficient contestants. Miss Suncatcher immediately ran over to the beast and applied makeup to its face, declaring "Bossie" to have simply been late to the show.
When asked for comment later, Miss Suncatcher slyly confided, "You can put liprouge on a kodo, and then it's not just a kodo!"
Judges will head to Felwood for the next contest where sources say they are "confident we will find a larger and more pleasant field of contestants."
This page has lots of good tips, including one that I am very guilty of not not following: "Unplug any battery chargers or power adapters when not in use."
While I'm almost certainly not going to unplug my Wii or DVD player between uses, I can only imagine how many chargers I have plugged in all over the house. Ugh.

Fairly safe for work, but the first time I watched this, it kinda made me a little nauseous. This guy swallows and the regurgitates things like light-bulbs and... goldfish.
Hidden in the "read more" link below, for your pleasure.
