The room was rather large. Much larger than the typical room to be found in Orgrimmar. It was confiscated by by the impromptu Military Tribunal that arranged itself along the far side of the room specifically because of it's size. To people like that, a larger room can fit more people inside of it, the more people that are there, the more important whatever going on is. There is a reason these people no longer command troops in the field.
The members of the tribunal sat a large table, a position which allowed them to clearly see the audience seated on several rows of benches in addition to the chair where any individual that was being questioned would sit, which seemed to almost be an afterthought.
Today's individual to be interrogated would be “Bloodaxe”, Stone Guard of the Horde and generally maladjusted individual. He waisted no time walking to his seat, whether this was caused by professionalism or from the uncomfortable feeling caused by wearing an officer's garb and awards, only Bloodaxe knew. As a matter of fact, he knew that it was both of those things and the general impression that this was not going to end well, so things might as well get taken care of quickly.
As he sat down in his seat, the questions began. The person asking was a older Orc, who looked to be reaching about the end of middle age. The kind of age where you can't fight nearly as well as you used to and any lingering fear of death starts to claw at the back of your mind. The age where some people look to grab hold of anything that will leave them important and remembered. It was pretty clear that this fellow was clinging to the idea of “Cleaning the Horde of internal threats”. Bloodaxe didn't even bother to take note of his name.
“Bloodax-”
“Stone Guard Bloodaxe.”
He was making friends already.
“Ok, Stone Guard Bloodaxe, are you aware of why you are here?”
“No sir, I am not.”
“You are here because an individual whom you cleared during an investigation has gone missing, and is suspected of having defected... to the Scourge!”
Murmurs echoed out from the benches around the room. The speaker practically radiated how much the reaction pleased him. A power junkie.
“Could you clarify which individual?”
“Though the council suspects you are already aware, we shall humor you, Stone Guard Bloodaxe. The individual in question is one, Caeryn Peyton, a deathstalker officer.”
The sounds from the crowd returned louder in volume this time.
“She has disappeared, having last been seen in frigid Northrend. It is our expert opinion that she has defected to the Scourge, assuming she wasn't just an agent of the Lich King this entire time.”
“I disagree with with your opinion and for that matter, I question if you can even call yourselves experts on the matter.”
“You will show this tribunal some respect, or we shall make a summary judgment without hearing from you.”
“Judgment on what?”
“On whether or not you too are involved with the enemy.”
The room practically shook as the crowd clamored and shifted in response to those words. Bloodaxe sat there for a long moment, in the proverbial eye of the storm. Calmly and carefully he focused his eyes on the men seated before him, and he waited for them to continue.
“Now, it has been brought to our attention that you have withheld information in some of your reports, specifically information that would justify further scrutiny if not outright intervention. Reports taken from the Undercity have proven particularly damning in the case of Ms. Peyton. Attempted kidnapping of Horde Citizenry being the most notable incident.”
“In Ms. Peyton's defense she was under both the orders of a superior officer and being blackmailed if I remember correctly. When the issue came to light, the individual responsible for the situation was terminated.”
“Your direct involvement in situation is noted. The incident seems to have gone quiet shortly after you made yourself involved. Almost as if you wanted to keep everything quiet.”
“I wanted to end the situation as quickly as possible.”
“So you say, so you say. Why did you not make any mention of this incident in your report?”
“I thought it would shed unnecessary doubt on the character of Ms. Peyton. Her methods may be questionable, but her motives are beyond reproach.”
“Such things are not for you to decide. When you were assigned your investigative position you shoul-”
“I was not assigned to this position.”
“If you were not assigned to this position then how is it that you found yourself going about the task of looking for the Horde's hidden enemies?”
“I volunteered.”
“You volunteered? No doubt to manipulate the investigations away from individuals such as Ms. Peyton, individuals who are clearly a threat to the safety of the Horde.”
“I volunteered to prevent zealous and fearful armchair officers from scourging the innocent and preying upon those who by misfortune have found themselves squarely within your gaze.”
Bloodaxe had stood up by this point, no longer content to sit.
“So you admit that you were attempting to derail our vital work!”
“I admit nothing to you. I sought to reduce the damage you would cause, not to aid in your paranoid madness and ineffectually late investigations.”
“Madness!? This is-”
“This is the Horde, where actions and character rise above petty words and posturing! Where only cowards sit behind tables and jab at targets of opportunity with pointed words and silver tongues!”
“You will be silent this instant!”
“I will be silent no longer. Your system is corrupt, your goals are laughable and your posturing is an embarrassment to us all.”
“We find you guilty of collaboration with the enemy. Barring the sudden appearance and clearing of Ms. Peyton, you shall be held until a proper sentence can be determined. That is the court's GENEROUS ruling, made only in light of your previous military service to the Horde. Guards, take him away.”
As Bloodaxe was being removed from the room, a stealthy observer resting among the rafters of the hall could only be amused at the hole his little Brother had dug for himself.
“Quite the hole indeed.”

((Very cool BA! Glad you posted this. Very anxious to see the next stage. Is their a jailbreak in our future? Will Caeryn appear in a puff of brimstone to save the day?))
